Village is currently £24.99 on steam and I've been wanting to get it for a while now but there was the announcement of the gold edition, so I don't know whether to buy it now and then be able to play it again in third person and with dlc when they come out or just wait and get it all together?

I'd say it's worth it if you're interested in playing a decent amount of The Mercenaries. Shadows of Rose is worth playing once, but it's not quite as replayable as the main game (or previous expansions in RE Games). Mercs is the bulk of the content and what's there is very fun.

Jul 2, 2022 · How do you make a Resident Evil game with so much atmosphere, and then waste it by not scaring the bejesus out of everyone. Apparently there were 2 people who complained about Resident Evil 7 being to scary, so Capcom intentionally made 8 less scary. The game is still good, but imo it is not a Resident Evil game anywhere besides name.
If you do not care about RE7 save room theme and other stuff then don't buy it. None of these is must-have and only Samurai Edge will have any actual impact on gameplay and i doubt it will be the best handgun in game anyway. By completing the game once, you'll be able to find a weaker version of the gun in your item box on every subsequent playthrough. Yep. Gold Edition is just base game + season pass. You get the base game, both DLC 'Banned Footage' volumes, the free DLC story expansion, and the premium DLC story expansion. Worth is always subjective, but I paid full price for the base game and full price for the season pass and don't regret it, but it was a bit overpriced.
Can't give any guaranty though. In my opinion no because you already beat the game! The DLC is pretty much Worth it though. I honestly I don’t think so, the story dlc was to short, the only benefit is the 3rd person mode, which should have been a free update for the 3rd person mode. Yes. It's basically more of a standalone expansion to the Resident Evil 2 Remake and I enjoyed my time with it. It's a brief play though but has lots of fun moments and killer one liners. Solid 6.5 or 7 out of 10 game.
